Police At My Door

I moved to the house in now at the end of May. The local police have been to my door twice now to give the mandatory fliers for Megan's Law people living in my neighborhood.

Funny thing is, I answered the door wearing my T-Shirt with the American Flag and a Blue Line through it. Shows my support for law enforcement, other than my job which is a police dispatcher.

Just thought I would share this little coincidence.

 We had an old guy in my neighborhood that moved back into his own house last summer after serving his time. He passed the other day from cancer. No one is sad.
I got pulled over by a State Trooper while on the phone with his Superintendent a while back. I didn't ask for any help. I just told him I would call him back. The Trooper let me go with a warning anyway. I told him after he was doing his duty who I was talking to when he pulled me over and showed him on my phone. He just smiled and said have a nice day.
